LITM is one of the rare few things that I miss about living in Jersey City. Everyone who works here is so cool. I also love that it such a creative environment with a very artistic ambiance. This is a place where all the non-stuck up, real artists (and I emphasize real because there are so many so called "creatives" in Jersey City nowadays) come to hang out. The food at LITM is so good. I really love their French Fries and the many different ways they make them. A drink I recommend you to try from here would have to be their Mexican Mule.

Very easy to get a table here on a Friday night around 9 PM. There area different types of repurposed art displayed on the wall which are for sale. This has more of a hipster bar vibe than a restaurant.
The staff is super friendly but the food and drinks weren't all that special. We got a pitcher of the peach mango sangria because we figured it would be more worth the money to split among 4 people. The pitcher was $25 and was smaller than a soda pitcher. It just served all of us one cup when it definitely would of been more worth it for all of us just to get a glass for $9
The Mac and cheese was basic and simple. It was okay but definitely tasted like something I could easily replicate at home. The fries were good though. They were cut and fried in a similar way as 5 guys and I love those fries. -

One of my favorite bars in JC and beyond. Such a wonderful + warm feeling to spend time here, surrounded by a wonderful community and local art all over the walls. They have incredible mac + cheese (gluten free options as well) and amazing happy hour deals.

Cool vibe and great cheap $5 martinis! Ambiance seems a bit stale with the lighting but displays cool art work giving the vibe an art gallery feel. Doesn't feel like a restaurant. (Pics were at 7:15 on a Thursday - not busy)
Glows:
-great drinks & prices
-friendly staff
-spacious
Grows:
-It's always pretty empty - makes me wonder what's going on there, but I keep coming back!

Alright, ive been coming here for years. i think its about time i update my review.
i love coming here mainly because of the art shows, free comedy shows, and other events that they have.
they tend to have great happy hours and lovely specials---EVERY NIGHT.
drinks and beers are average priced and they have decent beer selections.
food has improved alot over the years. i like their fries and veggie + chicken tacos. they also have alot of vegetarian options so keep that in mind.
my biggest complaint is how hot it is in here. it seems like they never have air on in here and the service in the back and be slacky at times.
